rebirth

wow! it's been more than 2 years since i last visited this blog.

and after reading most of the posts, i was just so stoked; it was like someone else wrote these, not the person who was reading them. but here i am again.

i had been contemplating on making another blog and writing again, so i visited this old thing and the sentiments got me.

so tg-girl is back. but first, some updates are in order... what has happened in two years?

i now have breasts, 36 B in fact.

i have moved on from the dream that was dave.

i now have finished college. oh yes. but just from some mediocre school pretending to be the best in IT. wait for my rantings about that one. hell!

i have, again taken the helm of being the membership coordinator of strap.

i have loved, yet again, once, twice, three times.

 i know live somewhere north.

i have, for some reason, now have a surrogate child, my ever dearest beloved leandro.

i am infatuated with a 17 year old boy. oh for pete's sake. what else? let's find out.

 it's nice to write again.

new banner

yeah, my new banner doesn't look that snazzy, but hey, it'll do for the mean time. i mean, it did achieve what i wanted, a superhero-ey look. next i will change the background. i hope i can learn html so i can change the banner's background size. gosh, this blog is gonna look gooo-ood! and please remind me to blog about the following:

1.) my mom and her relatives
2.) why i quit
3.) my sister and me, err, i

and the blog was redesigned...

fancy my new logo? alas, since tg-girl had nothing to do, she designed a new logo. now if only she can think of a nice banner... something superhero-ey. hmm...

no posts yet, tg-girl is in the designing phase...

whoa

wow! i've totally forgotten about this blog. i'm just lazy. and i haven't gotten any ideas on what to write about. can i use this as a personal blog instead? i will still tackle trans-related issues, being a tg myself. anyhoo, i guess with all the time on my hands, i will be able to write about anything under the sun.

kudos to bb gandanghari for standing up! we finally have a filipino tg celebrity. hurrah hurrah!

and thanks so much to sass for including me on the transpinay rising vid. for your enlightenment, check the link below:

an apology

okay, okay, i may have said more than i can live up to. i guess i won't be able to speak up for transgendered people, i have yet to research on the issues that are happening now, but hey, if ever you want to read about a transgendered girl living her life, go here. if ever you want to learn about transgendered people, you may here. or here: http://pinaytg.blogspot.com/ pau's site is very informative. anyways, i'll post some transgendered related topics here as well, for example, i nicked this off from a post by a co-member from my support group and organization, STRAP, or the Society of Transexual Women of the Philippines, (which i have yet to link to this blog, sorry sisters!) please enlighten yourselves:

more to follow!

and it begins

so i started another online journal. and why name it 'the misadventures of tg-girl'? because. i want to focus on issues i can relate to. so yes, this will be my sort-of part in the advocacy. i want to reach out to the community... by and by, i mean the transgendered community. for tg-girl is transgendered. for you unenlightened people out there, read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transgendered and perhaps, you'll have a better understanding of who and what tg-girl is. by and by again, tg stands for 'TRANSGENDERED'.

but why did i choose tg-girl? sounds like a superhero, right? i just thought, i am like a superhero, well, not really. i do not save other people. i don't have special powers. and i don't have nemeses. i am like a superhero, because i live a double life, like i have an alter ego. i'm also an often do-gooder, being the good friend i am. i also provide for my family. so in a way, i am like a superhero. my powers? the ability to change my costume in a few minutes. my telephone booth is the women's restroom. i also possess the ability to look gorgeous when i want to. my weakness is my constant need to look at myself and cute, tall boys. my nemeses are the ignorant people who continuously bring people like me down because they cannot accept change and diversity. for they fear what they cannot understand. and so, it is my mission to change the world, to educate the people, and make a better world for transgendered girls and boys.

'ako si tg-girl, ang nag-iisang dyosa ng mga tg...'
