harisu: korean transuperstar

i've been meaning to write about harisu, that korean transuperstar, which, incidentally, is my hero. well, i adore her. i want to be just like her. haha. i'm such a stalker. anyways, i've always had this thing for south korea, their culture, their language, and their hot korean boys... and so, harisu, or lee kyung-eun in real life, is living the life i want. (for more info on her, here is her wikipedia article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harisu ) she has fully transitioned, and she even got married. way to go. aside from being a pop star, she even has even starred in a movie. she's like, this one big inspiration for me. someday, i too will follow her footsteps. i do hope i'll get to meet her one day. i also hope i could get sponsorship like what she did for that transgirl from china. i wish i'll be the harisu of the philippines. haha. snaps for you harisu!

oh nothing

i had so much plans for this blog. and grand they were. i had wanted this to be an online resource for transgendered issues, or somewhere i can post transgendered news. i may still be able to do that, but well, i tried researching, and man, i have a lot to learn first. so i'll take everything in strides. for now, i'll just keep this blog as a chronicle of my life as a transgendered girl, here you'll read my stories, my experiences, my life. i would occasionally or more often so post tg stuff here and there. and so, it begins...

i hate html. i hate it because i don't know how to use it. i tried to add an html so i could link my blog to STRAP, and look how i fared. at least there's a link now. oh poo.

and it begins

so i started another online journal. and why name it 'the misadventures of tg-girl'? because. i want to focus on issues i can relate to. so yes, this will be my sort-of part in the advocacy. i want to reach out to the community... by and by, i mean the transgendered community. for tg-girl is transgendered. for you unenlightened people out there, read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transgendered and perhaps, you'll have a better understanding of who and what tg-girl is. by and by again, tg stands for 'TRANSGENDERED'.

but why did i choose tg-girl? sounds like a superhero, right? i just thought, i am like a superhero, well, not really. i do not save other people. i don't have special powers. and i don't have nemeses. i am like a superhero, because i live a double life, like i have an alter ego. i'm also an often do-gooder, being the good friend i am. i also provide for my family. so in a way, i am like a superhero. my powers? the ability to change my costume in a few minutes. my telephone booth is the women's restroom. i also possess the ability to look gorgeous when i want to. my weakness is my constant need to look at myself and cute, tall boys. my nemeses are the ignorant people who continuously bring people like me down because they cannot accept change and diversity. for they fear what they cannot understand. and so, it is my mission to change the world, to educate the people, and make a better world for transgendered girls and boys.
